Master Professional Flower Care Through Hands-On Learning
Our comprehensive learning program combines traditional botanical knowledge with modern handling techniques. Students work with live flowers, learning preservation methods, arrangement principles, and commercial-grade care practices that serve both personal enrichment and professional development.
Learn More About ProgramsWhy Choose Our Approach
We've spent years developing a curriculum that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Students don't just read about flower care — they work directly with fresh specimens, learning to identify stress signs, apply proper hydration techniques, and understand how different species respond to various environments.
Our program runs for 8 months starting September 2025, giving participants time to experience flowers through different seasons. This timing lets students observe how seasonal changes affect plant behavior and care requirements.
Each cohort stays small — maximum 12 students — so everyone gets individual attention and plenty of hands-on practice time.
Program Structure & Timeline
Our curriculum unfolds in carefully planned phases, each building on previous knowledge while introducing new challenges and real-world applications.
Foundation Phase
Students learn basic botany, flower anatomy, and fundamental care principles. We cover water chemistry, temperature control, and how to assess flower health through visual and tactile examination.
Months 1-2Species Specialization
Deep dive into specific flower families — roses, lilies, tropical varieties, and seasonal blooms. Each has unique care requirements and handling techniques that students master through daily practice.
Months 3-4Preservation & Storage
Advanced techniques for extending flower life, proper storage methods, and commercial-grade preservation. Students learn both traditional and modern approaches to maintaining flower quality.
Months 5-6Professional Application
Real-world scenarios including handling flowers for events, managing inventory, and troubleshooting common problems. Students work on actual projects with local businesses when possible.
Months 7-8Learn From Experienced Practitioners
Darwell Krishnamurthy
Commercial Horticulture Specialist
Twenty years managing flower supply chains for major Indian markets. Darwell brings practical experience from wholesale operations and knows what really works in commercial settings.
Our instructors come from working backgrounds in floriculture, botanical research, and commercial flower operations. They've dealt with real challenges — crop failures, seasonal shortages, quality control issues — and they share practical solutions that actually work in different environments.
Students benefit from this hands-on experience. Instead of academic theory, you get tested methods that practitioners use every day.
Pranitha Vallapureddy
Botanical Research & Care Methods
Former research coordinator at agricultural extension programs. Pranitha specializes in plant physiology and has developed care protocols that students can adapt to various flower species and growing conditions.
